hope

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.
Psalm 45:1

We have found that what God reveals He intends to heal. God mends what is broken.

We seek to offer Biblical counseling as we find that Christ revealed in the Bible is the way, the truth and the life. Scriptural truths apply to ancient and modern problems alike. We want to come alongside those who are hurting, oppressed and struggling. We recognize that suffering and sin in all forms coming at you needs to be recognized as what it is and processed through with Biblical insights. We aim to bridge the gap where life and Scripture meet.

When life's burdens impact us beyond the typical means of care, we come alongside people in 1:1 problem focused discipleship (counseling), in Hope Groups and occasionally refer out to outside organizations. Check out our Small Groups page to see what Hope Groups we have available this semester. Our Hope Groups cover a variety of topics - Anxiety, Betrayal, Sexual Integrity, Grief, Anger and more.

There is hope, reach out. We are eager to walk alongside you.

How do you hope people feel after meeting with you?

I hope people feel known and encouraged in this particular hard space they are walking in, not only by me, but especially by the Wonderful Counselor. I don't know the exact solutions for each precious suffering heart, but I love to hold your hand and take you to the God who knows by His Word and prayer.  I long to walk in patience and help with the practical everyday results of suffering.

Cristina Castillo

As Ministry Director of a church plant, pastor’s wife, and biblical counselor, Cristina is passionate about the truth of Scripture and the hope of the gospel. She has received biblical counseling training from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) and serves on the Gospel Soul Care counseling team, providing care in both English and Spanish.

Cristina offers focused counseling for women wrestling with the aftermath of abuse, destructive family dynamics, and toxic relationships—whether it’s anxiety, fear, anger, or learning to find the courage to speak up and build healthy, God-honoring relationships. She also equips women to stand firm in their faith by helping them learn how to study the Bible effectively and develop a biblical defense (apologetics) against today’s cultural confusion around identity, worth, gender, and truth—always pointing them to the freedom found only in the gospel.

How do you hope people feel after meeting with you?

I hope the women I meet with feel truly seen and heard, and that they leave with words to express their story, knowing it matters deeply to God. My hope is that they walk away anchored not in their circumstances, but in God’s faithful character and promises.
